Dethatching
Most people have never heard of thatching, nor do they understand the role that thatching plays in your lawn's ability to tolerate wear and tear.  While a thin layer of thatch can help with wear tolerance of your lawn, anything over 1/2" can choke your lawn roots and harbor disease and insects that may cause damage.  It's important to groom your lawn within the proper thatch levels for optimal lawn health.
